Can Calamine Lotion Be Used On Baby's Skin For Rashes?

Can I use calamine lotion on a baby that is just over 5 months old. A rash has appeare don his body today, he was seen by our doctor yesterday for a raised temperature and a crackly chest. We were told he had some viral infection and given nasal drops to use if we thought his nose was bloked.

Treatment given by your doctor is perfect.I would given same treatment to my patient.Calamine is very much safe and can be used for rash.For nose block saline nasal drops can be used.She will respond in 4-5 days
