Can cervical arthritis cause low blood pressure?I am 70 yrs old, 6'2", 180 lb.I have severe pain in my neck from injuries in my 20's and 30's. I am fainting when I standup. I am taking 1mg of midodrine 3/day and extra salt/water in my diet to try to control it.

u are having orthostatic hypotension, which can be seen in elderly due to many reasons. Common reasons are diabetes, autonomic neuropathy and drugs. Cervical arthritis can cause vertigo or dizziness but not hypotension. Plz consult your cardiologist for same.
