Can Chest Pain Occur Due To Stress In Females?

hello sir,
my mom sometimes feel some pain in her chest, for which we have been in regular consulation with a psychaitrist, as well as a complete body check-up had been done.. but the doctors said everything was fine, and the problem might be due to tension.. what should be done??

I can understand your concern.
Yes, stress, tension and anxiety can cause GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) and this causes chest pain. Since her routine reports are normal, no need to worry for major heart and lung diseases.
GERD causes hyperactivity and Chest pain.
So control of stress and anxiety is must.
Better to consult another psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions. Try to identify stressor in her life and start working on its solution.
She should start anxiolytic drugs too.
Along with drugs, regular counselling is also very important.
For hyperacidity, she should take proton pump inhibitors.
Don't worry, she will be alright.
