Can Clobex Spray For Long Term Cause High White Blood Cells?
Hi, I have been taking Clobex spray for psoriasis. I took it everyday for 6 weeks initially. Then stopped but started again with instruction to only take 2 days a week. I just got a new doctor and my blood test showed high white blood cells. Could this be related? I recall a reason I couldn t take clobex long term being either Kidney or Liver?
I understand your concern. Longtime use of Clobex spray is not known to be associated to an increased white blood cell count. The biggest risk with taking Clobex spray is if the drug enters the system in level high enough to affect the adrenal gland function, leading to symptoms such as high blood sugar and glucose in the urine.
You need to have a complete check up in order to figure out the reason behind the increased white blood cell count, which is usually an indication of infection.
I hope this helps. Wishing you all the best.
