Can Colonoscopy And Endoscopy Be Performed At The Same Time?

My doctor wants do do colonoscopy and endoscopy at the same time even the super prep is different, like not to drink six hours before the endoscopy. For the colonoscopy I need to drink five hours before the procedure. Can these procedures performed at the same time? My other question is, can I take my prescription medication the night before the procedure? Please advise

Hello,

Yes, both of these procedures can be done one after the another depending upon your comfort levels. You can also take medicines with sops of water night before the procedure. Nothing to worry.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
