Can Constipation Cause Back Pain?

I had moderate back lower back pain. More concerning to me is that for the last 4 days, I have not had a bowel movement on my own. I used laxative to help me have a BM and even then it is minimal. I had a CT scan and the finding said mild dis bulges. Can this be causing my constipation. I use to be regular before this pain started.

Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic.After going through your query I think you are suffering from chronic backache . Treatment of back pain is exercises and analgesics (diclofenac ). Sometimes vitamin D deficiency is the cause so get her vitamin D checked .If it is low then vitamin D supplementation ( weekly with milk) can be taken.Avoid long continuous standing.Sit in a straight posture. Eat milk and milk product, fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. You had a CT scan and the finding said mild disc bulges. YOU WANT TO KNOW that Can this be causing your constipation. Your more concern is of Constipation , .
One of major causes of backache, of course is constipation .
One of the principal cause especially , of backache is due to wrong posture of sitting, sleeping, walking, etc.

So you can understand ,all parts of our body are inter related

We have to take care of our body as a whole .

If our digestion system is not working properly our body will be infested with
various kinds of diseases . which i is caused due to over indulgence in junk fast foods and oily food stuffs , irregular lifestyle & lack of adequate exercise etc,.
For all over healthy life ,take Healthy nutritious food with fibers veges fruit vitamins ,minerals & plenty of water . Avoid fast foods, cakes , cookies over use of fats & salts and sugar .

You will not need laxatives if you are regular in life

To remove constipation , take 2 glasses of warm water with fresh lime .Add salt, if you don't have HBP
Aopt Yoga and Pranayam - Deep Breathing -Inhale - Hold - Exhale - Hold to strengthen your inner self.

1. Do jogging slowly , don't bend in front .
2. Raise your hands above your head ,stretch your body upwards and backwards . No bending in Front , strictly .
3. Sit on VAJJARASN ,take your hands at you hips ,clutch both hands and pull hands down ,shoulders , neck ,as much you can
. But don't over do . This is for instant relief for your back .

For over all total health , I must suggest you, It is better if can find some Yoga specialist ,who can give you some correct direction .

Proper food , regular exercise , proper rest and simple life style will ensure
regeneration of degenerated tissues and help curing quickly.
Total health without pains and bulges etc.
