Can Contraceptive Pills Be Started On Second Day Of Menstruation?

Hi there!! I am on the Qlaira pill with instruction from my doctor to back to back the packs and avoid the white pills entirely. Having finished a pack yesterday (on a dark red tablet) I discovered this morning I didn t have another packet but had a partial one from a previous missed pill (and having to start a new pack). Therefore I took a pale yellow tablet which has 2mg EV and 3mg Dienogest and also a dark red tablet to make up the other 1mg EV as would have been in the initial dark yellow tablet (which is purely 3mg EV). So I have had my quota of EV for the day as with a dark yellow pill (day 1) but also the extra 3mg D. Am I ok to continue day 2 tomorrow with my new prescription which I now have? Am I protected? Sorry to be so confusing this just really stresses me out and I need to know!!! Will the 3mg D affect my protection? Thank you so much if you can help x
