Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello I have a blocked nostril (usually by one side) by night. Also I have an advanced tooth decay on that side too.One obturated teeth of my upper arcade from that side several months ago broke up and I still have not gone to my dentist.I wanted to know if could be a connection between my blocked nose and my tooth advanced problems
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern... No dental caries cannot cause nasal congestion. There could be no connection between my blocked nose and my tooth advanced problems. There is no scientific reason for that. Nasal congestion should have occured due to viral infection, allergy, etc. You could use nasal spray & steam inhalation for your blocked nose.
If problem persist visit a ENT specialist. You should also visit your dentist if you want your tooth to be saved.
Hope this information helps
