Hi,

I am Dr.Bruno. I have read your question with care and understand your concerns. Let me try to help you

I find that your son had a depressed Fracture to the left side of his head just above his ear and you feel that he can't concentrate anymore, and gets stresses easy and don't always remember what he's said.

There is an important area of the brain called Angular Gyrus which deals with
1) Language
2) Mathematics and Spatial Cognition
3) Attention

Angular Gyrus is located just above the ear and hence pressure on this gyrus can produce the symptoms you have mentioned

If the fracture fragment is still pressing on the angular gyrus, then a surgery may be required to elevate the fracture fragment.

I would suggest you to kindly consult a Neurosurgeon at the earliest

Hope you found the answer helpful.

If you need any clarification / have doubts / have additional questions / have follow up questions, then please do not hesitate in asking again. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.
