Can Depression Cause Headache, Nausea And Blurred Vision?
Hi doctor my name is April and for the past couple of months say like in march of this year I've been having strange headaches, nausea, blurry vision, pain in my nose like if I can't breath and just filling horrible when this happens to me. I'm thinking it could be my depression, my depression has been off and on it come and goes. But these symptoms iv never had before until this year. I'm a cook at a restaurant and been cooking for three years now and I'm thinking it could be stress or just the heat in the kitchen. I've tried medicines like excedrin but it makes it worse. I dnt throw up but it comes and goes for some reason. I dnt know what could it be please doctor I would want to know what could it be. Please and thanks. Email: YYYY@YYYY
Hi April..yes depression can cause somatic symptoms like headache, nausea, blurry vision etc.. My suggestion to you to take Tab Escitalopram 10 mg in the morning and tab clonazepam 0.5mg at night for 7days..then gradually increase escitalopram 15 mg in next 7 days ..then continue tab escitalopram 20mg daily...and stop clonazepam after 12-14 days. I think this will help you. You should visit a psychiatrist also. Wishing you a good health.
