I m very angry with my doctor. He supposedly tested me for potassium, but then came back and said I am pre-diabetic. Was the diabetic test on the same panel that he could find this out? Then, last year, without a blood test, he said that I was FULLY DIABETIC, NOT PRE-DIABETIC. How could he make that assumption without a blood test? Any help you can give me?

Thanks for query.Diabetes can be detected without blood test with various sign and symptoms like frequent urination, excessive thirst,Extreme hunger, tingling and nubness in hand and feet, feeling much tiredness most of time, wound or sores that are slow to heal etc if you have above any sign and symptom then you should go for blood test because blood sugar test is neccessory for confermation of diabetes.Normal range of blood sugar is 70 to 110 in fasting and after meal it increased upto 140.
