Can Dichloromethan Enter Paranasal Area And Brain Leading To Memory Issues?
I had an accident with Dichloromethan (Toxic Solvent) in August 1997. I was knocked out by the chemical and was found laying on the floor with the empty Dichloromethane drum. I then had a Brain Scan in January 1998, five months later which showed Severe Extensive Inflammatory Disease in the Paranasal. To date I suffer from constant fatigue mentally and physically. My memory is really, really bad and I do not remember peoples faces, I also get lost when out. This week the Hospital of Neurology signed me over to the local mental health team for help with my memory and occupational therapy. Basically they are now saying that I am Malingering or have Gansers Syndrome. What I need to know is could the Dichloromethane have entered my Paranasal area and reached my brain? Could the Dichloromethane have remained/stayed in the soft tissue of my paranasal ? If so how long ? Could it have remained in my paranasal for five months ? Could the chemical have remained in my paranasal tissue and beyond taking some time to disolve into my body ? I hope that you will beable to answer these questions because my health care providers dont seem to know much about chemical exposure full stop. Thank You.
