Can Diet Plans & Exercises Alone Help In Reducing Blood Sugar?
Hey I am 26 years old,male,80 kg weight, and I had frequent Urination last week and I was a lot thirsty. When I told this to my mom she told me to have a home sugar test..(my dad is diabetic).I took test early morning and found it to be 348.I then started controlling my diet.I really dont like vaccines. Can I control my blood sugar by reducing weight, controlled diet and by taking tablets? Please help.
Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.
The blood sugar level you have mentioned is higher to normal. At first diabetes is diagnosed not by single value, but fasting and postprandial level. If they are high, we go for HbA1c value which gives sugar level for the last three months. If that value is higher, first control is tried by diet and exercise. when not controlled even after 2 months then we go with tablets. There is nothing like vaccine. You easily control with tablets.
Hope this guides you. For any other queries you can write to us. we will be happy to help you. Thank you. Dr Phanindra Dulipala Diabetologist.
