Can Dosage Of Encorte Chrono For Epilepsy Be Reduced Due To Causing Dry, Thin And Peeling Skin?
sir i am a 22yrs girl taking medicine of epilepsy since 2009.sir i before i was suffered once or twice in a year.sir i was taking medicine epirate chrono 300mg twice in a day. last year my doctor changed my medicine encorate chrono 300mg twice in a day.sir since 2011 i have not got any attack of epilepsy. i approached to doctor to reduce the power of medicine but he did not. sir now i feel my skin is getting thin day by day and my foot skin coming out very severely.my skin is now very dry. sir kindly advice me what to do about my doze. why my foot skin is automatically tearing like peeling a orange. request to advice
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern, because of the increased dose of the antiepileptic medicine you did not have any attack it is not advisable to reduce the dose, your skin condition that you have may not be due to the medicine that you are taking but could be due to something else and for that it is better to see the dermatologist, hope this information helps you, have a nice day.
