Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son works at a fabrication shop and sometimes gets shocked. For the past couple months he gets a sharp, fast pain on the left side that sometimes moves downward or sideways. He saw a heart doctor but is only wearing a heart monitor for 30 days. Nothing else has been determined. Does getting shocked mess up your heart?
He is 26 and in good health.

HI
Thanks for posting your query .
Yes Electrical Shock can cause problem to heart . See there are small electrical currents running in the heart continuously but when a electric current enters body from outside it may interfere with the heart current .
But the serious effects can happen only at the time of shock and not after few days . So don't worry . Let the Heart Monitor report come . Do let me know what did the report say .
