Can Elevated Sugar Levels Cause Spots On The Skin?
i have recently noticed my blood sugar levels have been elevated. It s running around 250. Ive started metformin twice a day in an attempt to bring it down along with diet and exercise. Today i noticed two time sized brown spots near my ankle on the side of my lower leg. The spots are about an inch apart from one another. they are not raised. They do not itch or hurt. Could this be caused from the sugar?
