Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been experiencing esophageal spasms that are almost mirroring cardiac pains. I recently experienced a dizzy spell that resulted in my falling. Blood pressure was very increased but also leveled out fairly quickly. Is there a possibility a severe esphageal spasm causing dizziness?
it commonly does. But then any irritation of the digestive track can cause a reflex LOWERING of heart rate and blood pressure. Or people commonly have a dizziness just from nausea.
