Can Extra Raising In Uvula Be Treated With Medicines?
My son visited the doctor this morning and found out a small raisin-like attached to his Uvula and it causes him difficulty in talking... the doctor prescribed medicines for him and after a week, he will go back again to the doctor to check if need to be operated. Is it possible that could be treated with medicines? I am worried Doc.

hello thanks for consulting at hcm,,it could be due to swollen uvula due to infection or it could reactive lesion resulting in extra growth of the uvula,,so take the medicines prescribed by his doctor, hope the medicines have antibiotics and analgesics,,also do salt water gargle thrice daily,,also review back with his doctor to see whether it has come down or if surgey is needed,,hope it helps,, take care,,
