Can Filling Of A Tooth Cavity Result In A Sore Throat?

My 5 yr old had a second cavity filled Friday and he is complaining of a sore throat today. He mentioned it yesterday but only once. He has had some allergy/sinus issues that we have been taking OTC meds for before visit. Is there anything from the dental visit that would cause the sore throat?

Hi..it is very unlikely... he must have contracted the infection before only...either from the infected tooth or some food....having allergy and sinus issues indicate that his immunity is on the weaker side...better show to a pediatrician
