Can Gargling With Aspirin Help In Case Of Swollen Tonsils?
I had a bout of fever along with throat infection but since yesterday the fever was gone and throat infection had subsided. This morning suddenly I lost my voice. My tonsils seem to be slightly swollen. Someone suggest I gargle by adding an aspirin tablet. Does that sound like a good idea
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The throat infection can be because of the bacterial infection. Nothing to be panic, consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like azithromycin(if you are not allergic). Using aspirin through gargling will not help you in any way. You can take in the form of tablets, this reduces pain. Do saline gagling. I hope I have answered your query, take care.
