Can Green Vegetables Be Taken When On Plavix?

I 76 y.o. - 4 feet 10 inches and 145 lbs. and I had a triple by-pass and mitro valve replacement in 2009. I had a stent placed in my arteries yesterday and I am now on Plavix. My question is can I eat green vegetables, i.e., broccoli, lettuce, peas, etc. while I am on Plavix?

Yes. You are thinking of Coumadin or warfarin, another type of blood thinner, where leafy green vegetables may be a problem. Warfarin suppresses vitamin K which is important in producing clotting factors. Leafy green vegetables supply vitamin K so this might interfere with the warfarin. However, Plavix works by an entirely different mechanism, so you don't need to worry about limiting your vegetables. Hope this answers your question.
