Can Headaches And Blurred Vision Now Be Caused By A Car Wreck 20 Months Ago?
My husband is 35 yrs old. He had a car wreck 20 month s ago which left him paralyzed. The car flipped and his head hit the roof and he broke his neck completely into. Since his wreck he has headaches and blurred vision in his right eye. His right eye is also now closed more than the other and is always more red. It looks like the red and the closing are slowly getting worse. What do you think is wrong with him?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I have read your description and understand your concern. Car wreck caused 20 months ago can lead to development of certain symptoms like the one you are describing. It appears that there could be some injury inside the skull before, which might have flared up now due to inflammation or edema. Kindly get a CT scan of the head and neck region at the earliest and consult Neurologist with the report for proper evaluation and management. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
