Can Heatstroke Cause Momentary Loss Of Sight And Hearing And Dizzy Spell?

I was perfectly fine. I walked about 10 feet and I became extremely lightheaded,I than went blind and deaf completely. I lost all strength and almost fainted but people were holding me up. I was outside in the sun for about 30 minutes. I wasn t thirsty or hot. Perfectly fine. When I got in the car with the AC I regained eyesight and hearing. But I was weak until about a hour later. I drank water. And if I get up now,I am still a little lightheaded. Heat stroke? What happened?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
dear patient. If you were not sweating profusely or hot before getting fainted, there is a serious doubt that it was a heat stroke.it was not a heat stroke.According to me it was transient ischemic attack meaning temporary cut off blood supply to specific part of the brain leading to your temporary symptoms of lightheadedness and fainting and mild stroke.I suggest you to consult a neurologist to prevent any future recurrence.Rest assured you will get better.
