Can Heavy Bleeding After Taking Misoprostol Tablets Mean Abortion?

I missed my period on the 24th of Jan, did a pregnancy test and it was positive. I had intercourse on the 6th of January. I have taken two misoprotol tabs vaginally and one bucally. They bleeding was heavy for the fist day and now I mostly have light bleeding. Does it mean the abortion was successful?

hi, thanks for using HCM..
i understand your concern.. Its dangerous to use this tablets on your own.. Since you had a heavy bleeding with passage of clots the abortion process have started. Get a scan done after 2 weeks to see for any retained products of conception. if there is any retained products a D and C might be required to evacuate the uterus.. It would be better t take an alternate contraceptive method like ocp's or condoms as repeated abortions can affect your health.. Hope i have answered your queries.. Good day.
