Can High ASO Level And Treated Kidney Stone Cause Joints Pain?
I aged 25 years female from Assam, was having a small kidney stone in my left kidney last year2011...after having medicine for six months it was found in the scan report that the kidney stone was vanished...But my problem is now that I am having a high ASO level of 350 in my recent test report and also having pain in my joints,I also having pain in the lower back side of my waist...what I shall do... is there any danger for me in future..please help me to know...

Hello, Welcome to HCM Thanks for posting your query in HCM.I understand your concern.ASO titre of 350 is quite high.In adults normal levels are less than 200 units.
If it is above 200,it is significant.It means there is active infection of streptococci in your body.
So you need to take appropriate pencillin group of antibiotics as soon as possible for preventing further complications after consulting your treating doctor.
