Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Can Hives Fade To A Bruise That Peels Like A Sunburn?
Is it normal for hives to fade to a bruise that peels like a sunburn? I m 49 and have had this problem for over 15 years. The hives develop where ever there is pressure like a waistband and are most pronounced during menses or after eating nightshade foods.
There are various skin disorders which manifest during the menses period or after eating night shade foods which suggest hormone changes or histamine affection to some extent. A detailed analysis on immunologic grounds with presence of particular antibodies to desmosome or hemi-desmosome of the skin layers or else are best recommended along with serum levels of IgE and else. However, feel free to discuss further about the current session or further medical perspective.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
