Can Home Remedies And Homeopathic Medicine Be Sufficient To Treat A Child Suffering From Severe Cough Caused By Chest Infection?
Sir,
My 2 year old daughter has an awful cough since last 9 months sometimes it feels that she will start vomit due to this cough. It starts at any time but mostly when she is in bed at night or after taking milk/food. I took her to the Doctor he said it is throat/chest infections and recommended few medicines and I have tried everything i.e Honey, home remedies, medicines, homeopathic but all are in vain. Her immune system is weak. Due to this she gets sick every after 20 days or 1 month. Recently she has suffered with very high fever due to typhoid. She is not healthy I got her chest X ray and everything is fine.
She always asks for butter with Bread/Chapattis. Is it OK to give her butter during the cough? Can I give her cod liver oil on daily basis?

I really understand your concern for your daughter, it seems allergic cough and will definitely go away without any medicine, if your child is really weak then it Will take some time but for sure it will get alright later or sooner, I would like to say you something, considering my self as her doctor that do not try any thing now, if her all the necessary test turn unremarkable, otherwise the condition would became worse or aggravate, homeopathy is medicine for chronic disease and of course gives very good placebo effects but does not cure acute disease or deals with emergency, I hope you may be convince with this take good care of your daughter have nice day.
