Can Hormone Imbalance Or Pregnancy Cause Signs Of Nausea, Dizziness And Sore Nipples?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here.Hi, I m 31years old and I have PCOS. I have a 6 year old daughter which I had no trouble conceiving. I ve been trying for the last 4years but with no luck. I menstruate monthly but don t have a fixed cycle, sometimes 35days,sometimes 40 days. For the past week now I ve been having pregnancy symptoms of cramping, nausea, dizziness and extremely sore nipples. I took a home test which showed negative. I would like to know, could I be pregnant or could it be a hormonal imbalance causing the symptoms. I last menstruated on 17 january and missed february.

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. PCOS is associated with irregular menstrual period and hormonal disturbances .
However, cramping, nausea, dizziness and engorged tender breasts are not the features present in PCOS. I would suggest you to get a blood beta hCG levels done to confirm pregnancy.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
