Can Hydrochlorothiazide Pills Cause Heart Palpitations?

I lately changed to 25mg of water pill -hydrcholorothiazida pills for my high blood pressure from 12.50 mg. I have taken the 25mg for three days now and today I feel my heart was pumping faster than normal. Is this because of the 25mg water pill or is this something else. Should I go measure my blood pressure??

Thanks

Wan.

HI
Thanks for your query
The increased dose of hydrochlorothiazide is unlikely to cause palpitations. If the problem persists, consult your doctor. He/she can examine in you in detail and determine the cause of your symptoms.
Hope this helps
Good luck
