Can Hydromorph And Bupivacaine Cause Feet Rash And Swelling?
My husband has a pain pump with hydromorph and bupivacaine in it and has a rash on top of both feet . Could this be caused by these medicines ? He also takes other Medicines Lopressor 100mg Pot Cl micro tab 10 MEQ Xanax 1mg,Lasix 40 mg Diazepam 5mg Norvasc 5mg Celebrex 200mg Folic Acid 800 mcg B12 2500 mcg Iron 650 mg . This is the Medicine he Takes. His foot is also swelled, he has Gout but cannot take the medicine for it as he is allergic to it. Thank you I look forward to your Comment, Melanie Woodward

Your husband is receiving multiple medicines due to several medical conditions. Hydromorph and bupivacaine are used for pain relief. They can cause swelling due to medicine itself or due to pump.
But before that there is need to rule following causes of swelling:
-Kidney problem
-Liver and cardiac condition
-Side effects of other medicines
