Can I Take Milk Thistle Along With Isotretinoin For Acne Treatment?
I have just started taking isotretinoin for the treatment of acne. I would like to know if it would be ok to take milk thistle to help prevent damage to my liver during the course, and also could milk thistle reduce the positive benefits of isotretinoin ? thank you.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have facial acne along with liver damage problem and you want to take milk thistle along with isotrentoin, well isotrentoin is the best treatment option available. Regarding liver damages you should go for ultrasonography as well. I would suggest you to wash your face with face wash containing benzoyl peroxide then apply cream containing kojic acid which is safe and very effective. If condition doesn't get better in a month then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables also drink plenty of water. Apply vitamin E before going to bed to fine texture of skin.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
