Hi,

Acland gel is a topical medication that contains the active ingredient clindamycin, which belongs to a group of antibiotics called lincosamides. It is used to treat acne vulgaris by reducing the number of bacteria causing the infection.

A burning sensation on the face after applying Aclind gel is a common side effect, especially if the skin is dry or sensitive. This burning sensation is due to the irritation caused by the medication, and it usually subsides within a few minutes. However, if the burning sensation persists, or if you experience any other adverse reactions, you should consult your doctor.

Isotretinoin is a medication used to treat severe acne, and it works by reducing the amount of oil produced by the skin. It is known to cause dryness, itching, and irritation of the skin. Therefore, the combination of Aclind gel and isotretinoin may cause further irritation and dryness, which could lead to a burning sensation on the face.

Clindoxyl is another topical medication that contains clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide. Benzoyl peroxide helps to reduce the number of bacteria causing acne, and it also helps to dry out the skin, which may reduce the irritation caused by clindamycin. Therefore, if you are experiencing significant burning or irritation with Aclind gel, you may want to consider switching back to Clindoxyl or speak to your doctor about other alternatives.

In summary, a burning sensation on the face after applying Aclind gel is a common side effect, especially if the skin is dry or sensitive. If the burning sensation persists or is severe, you should consult your doctor. If the irritation is significant, you may consider switching back to Clindoxyl or other alternatives.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
