if i have very very heavy bleeding is it ok to use tampons? or will it affect my health?

tampon is designed to be inserted into the vagina during menstruation to absorb the flow of menstrual fluid
while pad to be put outside to do same
as u have heavy bleeding ,better to use frequent pad as tempon carry risk of infection
chance of spread to deep into vagina is there
