Can Lack Of Sleep Result In Irregular Periods?

I have had three miscarriages. My periods use to be all over the place, but they became set on the 13th for several months. Then I was exactly 35 days late when my period came. After that my periods started coming on the 20th. I got a faint positive on a pregnancy test during that time when I was late. (I m unsure if that was the forth miscarriage or not) so the past three months my period has been coming on the 20th. Today I found a light pink cervical mucus in my underwear, but no period. I was cramping a week ago, but today I should have started my period. My breast are sore other than that there are no other signs my period is coming. Am I having miscarriages because my body isn t healthy? Also why am I missing my periods randomly? Im 19 years old and me and my fiancé have been trying, but I m afraid I ll never have kids is this normal for a female my age to have so many menstral problems? Could my lack of sleep be causeing the problems with my menstral cycle?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You have irregular periods. It can be due to severe weakness, hormonal imbalance (thyroid or ovarian problems or PCOD) or some problem with uterus (like fibroid). A detailed gynecological examination along with needful investigations (blood counts, thyroid test, USG of pelvis) would reveal basic cause this needs to be followed by specific treatment. Please consult a gynecologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
