Can Laser Hair Removal Stop Pilonidal Cysts?

My son age 18, 200 lbs otherwise healthy is extremely hairy. He had four or five polyidial cysts removed last spring and he is starting to have symtoms again. Would laser hair removal in the region affected by helpful for his long term success dealing with this issue.
