sir i was having water in my lung in june 2009. i got the treatment . it was TB and i was suggested to take medicine for 9 months. i took medicine for 5 months and fails to complete the dose. I took TB test in march 2011. HI. 5 months treatment is definitely not a complete treatment of a proven tuberculosis. But again - loosing weight is certainly one of the important symptoms of TB. The back-pain can be or may not be the reason. You need further clinical examination and investigations like X-ray/ CT / MRI for the back-pain as TB of the vertebrae is a well known disease. You certainly may need further treatment. And if needed complete the course.
