Can Lung Cancer Be Cured In A Patient Following Healthy Lifestyle And Diet?
can lung cancer in a woman who never smoked always ate healthy and stayed fit and exercised regularly be cured or helped to shrink without hurting her.. my mom is 80 but never sick a day in her life. she is a little dizzy at night but energetic during the day.
Yes, this can be cured with the survival rate of 5 years if the disease is diagnosed in an early stage and well treated by surgery or Radiotherapy/ Chemotherapy as the need be as per the opinion of an expert Oncologist. Since she is 80 years old, it would be bit difficult to say about the possible outcome as age matters a lot as the body responds differently in case of old age with such diseases as cancer, diabetes, heart related problems and so on. Hence the additional management would be towards the keeping her well hydrated, free of anemia and hypoproteinemia.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
