Can Lung Cancer Be Treated?

my son wwas diagonist with stage 1 lung cancer the dr did no biopsey he ended up loosing 1/3 of his lung because there was another tumor also they were not cancer 2 months ago now he is worse he has a larger mass same lung lung dr said it is like spider with legs that keep growing he is going to do biopsey he dont think it is cancer either my son is 48

At this point he has to remove the other mass from lung.
Also he should do chemotherapy. Of course biopsy is obligatory before any procedure or treatment options.
