Can Meatal Stenosis Cause Fever And Pain?

My 6 year old son had a temp. of 102 with vomitting about 3 weeks ago. He also complained of painful urination for a couple days at the time. Took him to the Dr. after 4 days of not feeling well and was told it was a virus. He is still complaining of not feeling well and I have noticed urine missing the toilet which we dealt with before he had surgery almost a year ago for meatal stenosis. We checked to see if the opening was closed but it is not. Could he have gotten a uti and it's causing the inner urethra to swell shut and cause misdirected stream? Other than the meatal stenosis he's a very healthy child.

Ya he had uti, which may be because of reflux of urine, do retrograde urethrogram and ivp to rule out any stenosis in his urethra
