Can Meth Misuse Cause Stomach Distention?
I used meth the other day. I smoked some at around 11 pm the night before. I use it occasionally around 2 to 3 times a month. My question is my stomach always getting extremely distended after using meth. Also I made myself vomit and to my shock there was lettuce that I had eaten over 16 hrs ago. I heard meth will make your body not digest water or food? Please help!

Hi,
It appears that meth is affecting your gastric motility, preventing the passage of food from the stomach to the intestines and finally to the rectum for excretion. Your present symptoms will improve in a couple of days. Just avoid any fatty meals till then. But in future, it will be better to remain off meth.
