Can Mild Dextroscoliosis And Levoscoliosis Leads To Pain In The Pelvic And Groin?

i have just been diagnosed with mild dextroscoliosis in my thoracic spine and levoscoliosis. is it possible this could be the reason I hurt when I do sit-ups. I have pain in my right pelvic area, lower back pain especially on right side, groin pain, and my right leg goes numb.

Hello,

Yes, due to scoliosis it is possible to have pain on one side, lower back, hip, groin, numbness etc.

With proper exercise prescription under a competitive spine physiotherapist, you will at least avoid all these symptoms and may even do correction of scoliosis.

In my clinical experience of 12 years, most cases seen till date have similar complaints of the additional symptoms and they respond well with physiotherapy.
