Can Mild Hydrosalpinx Be Treated With Oral Medications, and Should I Be Worried About My Pregnancy?

Good morning Doctor. My HSG report says: Uterine cavity shows a normal. Right fallopian tube is normal. There is a mild hydrosalpinx in the left fallopian tube. However free spill can be examined. Please explain me what should be my next steps on this. Can this be treated via oral medicines? I am worried about my pregnancy. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello,
There are no medications to cure hydrosalpinx without surgery in allopathy; herbal medicines are indeed available and are claimed to give good result. Your report shows good spill in spite of the hydrosalpinx suggestive of a patent tube. In such a case, surgical treatment is needed as there is always a risk of ectopic pregnancy should that tube become the lodging site of an embryo. You need not worry about pregnancy as a single tube is sufficient for conception. Hope this helps.
