Can My Daughter Go To School As She Is Having Red Rash On Her Cheeks?
I think my daughter has slapped cheek, she has red rash on both cheeks, but is otherwise well...can she still go to school or do I have to keep her at home? Also we are due to fly to Barcelona on Monday, is this still going to be possible? Many thanks in advance for replies.
It may be viral skin disease called fifth disease ..also called erythema infectiosum. It is caused by parvovirus B19. there may be erythematous patches, bodyache, fatigue, fever..etc. consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. Symptomatic treatment may be considered. The condition is self limiting. So, no need to worry.
Hope this helps.
