I have been diagnosed with moyamoya. My right carotid is less than 1mm,left side is normal at 3mm. I have probably had this for a long time based an the amount of collaterals. I am experiencing severe neck tightness and pain. Could this be due to the narrowed carotid?

concerning the moyamoya disease ,it may cause the same complain as you said..you will have to do follow up as at a time you will need surgery
