Can Nausea And Headaches Lead To Flu?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...

My symptoms began yesterday with vauge nausea and silght headache. I drank some gingerale and took 2 ibuprophen which did not totally relieve the symptoms, but did help. Later that day, my nausea and headache returned stronger. I again took 2 ibuprophen and ate some soup thinking I may be coming down with the flu. Shortly I went to bed as I just felt terrible ( mostly headache)

. I awoke this morning with sharp pain in my lower right side and still a slight headache. I drank my morning coffee and had my ritual bowel movement. The pain in my side seems to be getting worse, though not totally unbearable. I am a 54 year old female who has been thru menopause so I don't think it is an ovary issue. I rarely get sick, but this is odd. I would prefer not to go to the ER as so many are ill with the flu now. What are your recomendations?

HI
Well come to HCM
You really did the mistake by taking the Ibuprofen, the chances of developing gastritis due to the Ibuprofen is very likely and this could be the reason of pain that you have, and this is not the flu, now the best option to get rid of this is Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day and Tab Domperidone 30 mg once in day for couple of weeks, take care.
