Can Occasional Smoking Of Weed Cause Adverse Effect On Stent Fitted Heart?
Hello, three years ago my son aged 38 had a blocked artery to the heart and had a stent fitted. He was told that he needed to change his lifestyle I.e. Not drink too much and quit smoking tobacco which he has done, but he occasionally smokes a bit of weed. My concern is will this have a detrimental effect on his health especially his heart?
Not smoking includes even weed. Even though he smokes occasionally there is no amount of smoking which is not dangerous. It is better to stop it at all.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
