Gastroenterologist 's  Response
Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist.

yes you can continue with pegasys in the periop or post op also. But three things you have to keep in mind:
1. He is having Cirrhosis, Child'S A, so avoid hepatotoxic drugs and tell the patient about the risk of surgery
2. Now oral medications (DAA-Directly acting antivirals) are available for treatment of Hepatitis c. You can switch him to that depending on the Genotype.
3. Universal precautions
I hope I have answered your query and this will help you . Wish you a good health
