Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Can One Have Low Blood Pressure Leading To Dizziness, Lightheadedness And Nausea After A Stitch Removal?
When I have a minor procedure like having a stitch removed and it takes a long time, or if I pop a pimple and it takes me a few minutes, I get a light-headed, slightly dizzy slightly nauseous feeling. Maybe low blood pressure. My vision goes a little dark and I feel like I might faint. Why does this happen and what is the term for it?
Hi, I read your query and would like to say that the right term is most probably pre-syncope. And this is most probably due to vaso-vagal origins (which is of benign nature). I suggest a full cardiologic, neurologic and ENT to rule out any other causes of presyncope. Hope I answered to your query. Dr. Benard
