Can Osteoarthritis Cause Tingling Sensation In The Legs?

I have tingling from below my knee all the way through my toes. The toes are so painful. Fel like somebody is taking a rubber band and wrapping it tighter and tighter. My question is can osteoarthritis cause this feeling. I maverick been dealing with this for about ten years and the VA has named it ideopathic neuropathy and it is only getting worse and is also starting to do the same on my right foot.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Osteoarthritis is a condition which affects the joints such as knee joints. It is not known to cause sensory disturbances such as tingling sensation in the legs.
Tingling sensation in the legs could be due to deficiency of vitamins and minerals.
Kindly take supplements regularly which contains Vitamin B12, Vitamin B1, Vitamin E, Calcium and Selenium as ingredients and gradually, you should be able to overcome such symptoms.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
