Can Pain And Numbness On Arm Be Symptoms Of Diabetes?

I have a sharp pain in my left bicep. It is a stabbing pain that radiates down my arm and causes my arm to go a little numb. Then after a few seconds it goes away. It has been this way for about 4 days so far & it is excrutiating when it happens. I have found that if I flex my muscle it gets me through the episode. I m a healthy 27 year old female. I just got checked last week & my glucose levels were a little high. So now I m worried that this could be a result of diabetes or something.

Dear Madam,
Aches and pains are common in humans and we need not essentially blame everything on Diabetes. I feel what you are going through are muscle cramps. The treatment would be as simple as taking large amounts of water plus a Vitamin E supplement with L-carnitine. The cramps are more common in females. So relax!
Secondly your sugars need to be controlled so as to avoid any further complications because of Diabetes in a young lady like you
